Burning Man Honoraria 2026 - Invited to submit during full proposal round

• Conceptual design, not selected for Honoraria Grant

13’ wide, 20’ long, 7’ tall

Construction details:

• Wings framed by 3x3/16" curved steel flat bar, with 2½x⅛" internal reinforcement ribs & ½” base plates with ½” holes for 4’ lag bolts

• Three 3x3" square box tube beams run through the body, with end-plates bolting to the underside of the wings

• The body is a cage frame of ⅛" curved steel round bar, with 16ga. lasered steel & bronze/copper scrap metal brazed on top

• The panels are CNCed ¾” milled redwood/oak, 16ga. sheet metal, & leaves in ¼” UV resin

• Eyes made of safety mirrors

Touch reactive panels in the wings’ eyes cause LEDs along body to pulse with light
