Having first done mosaics as a kid, I revisited the craft working with Dana Albany in 2024 on Release, and also joining her team to create projects for the Excelsior, Mission and an art & music festival in Concord. Since then, it’s become one of my favorite hobbies - rummaging through material at SCRAP SF, calling local thrift stores to take all their glassware that’s accidentally broken, or using shards from my own broken plates at home. Mosaics are a perfect mix of strategy, craftsmanship, and meditative puzzling.
