I start by foraging, hand-pressing, and drying flowers & foliage in between the pages of my journal. Once I have a collection of dried plants, I head to the thrift store to find old wooden trays or defunct pieces of material to sand down, refinish, or paint in order to cast the dried flowers and leaves into eco-poxy resin. These pieces are a collection of my favorite plants in nature, and are a way that I can celebrate all the places I have lived.
